LAGOON BABY!!!!!

So on Saturday, my Grandma took my siblings, me, and my cousin Taylor to LAGOON... and it was truly a BLAST!!! We went on tons of rides including:
Samarai, Wicked, Rattlesnake Rapids, Bat, Jet Star, the Rollar Coaster, Log Flume, and a bunch of other random smaller ones...

It was way fun, and since it was Taylor's first time to Lagoon we had to covince her to go on a bunch of stuff, but after we got off of the ride, we all were glad we went!!

We did take some pictures while we were there, but my dad has the camera right now so I can't load them on here quite yet. :)

SLEEPOVER!!!

So this is my 100% AMAZING cousin... we are having a sleepover tonight (much needed, we've been looking forward to one for weeks!!)
Taylor is truly an amazing person, she is a couple of years younger than me, but we get along PERFECTLY... (well, we definetely have arguments sometimes, but they are resolved quickly & we end up laughing about it!) :)

Taylor is definetely one of my soulmates, and to put the icing on the cake, we are cousins so that means holidays, camping trips, and Superbowl Sundays are always spent together!!

Didn't make it...

So I am an officer at my school this year, and was running to do so again next year, but I didn't make it... I was really disapointed. Running was fun though... (and stressful) :)

Maybe I'll try again next year, I think the main reason I am so bummed about this time is because I've been doing it this year and know how fun it is.
hmmmm... there's always next time, right??
And the upside is that Jake Klein from my ward made it through to the final election! Hope he goes all the way...

DODGEBALL!!!!!!!

Today I went to our stake YW's sports and this week it just happened to be dodgeball... which is like the best thing ever created!!! I am not usually a vicious person... but there is something just so THRILLING about hucking a ball at somebody across the room!! (heehee :))
We played for two hours, and it was amazing!!!

I should see if they have a competitive dodgeball league around here because I would ROCK at it!! (haha)

In loving memory of Sage Caroline Barton...

This is my little sister Sage. She very unexpectedly returned to her father in heaven last month.
She was up in my sister Amanda's room when she passed out - this is something that she would occasionally do when she got very upset and started crying so hard that she couldn't catch her breath. Amanda did not recognize that this was what happened, and just thought Sage had "fallen asleep", so she just kept playing. Normally Sage would come to on her own, but this time she landed on a toy that blocked her airway so she couldn't wake up. My mom went up to check on them, and found Sage. She was life-flighted to Primary Children's hospital, and the doctors did all they could, but did not prevail... her mission is clearly with her Heavenly Father and she was needed there.

This was a huge shock to my family and we were not prepared for it. Heavenly Father has been carrying us through this trying experience. I have a testimony that she went for a reason. She was such a perfect spirit in the premortal life, that God could not let that be ruined by the world. She died a perfect spirit, and she will be saved...

Sage was such a cute kid - she was so funny and smart too!! She loved to be outside. She loved to get out of the bath and run around the house saying "I naked!!" She made us smile, and it really felt like she was here soully to bring joy and love to people who knew her. She loved to open things with zippers, and she would open & empty my scripture bag time and again! :)

My family loved and still loves Sage so much. More than words can express. We miss her so badly but know that we will see her again someday because families are forever.

We love you Sage!!

more friends, and GEOCACHING!!!

So I found some more cute pics on my phone of me and my friends and decided to post them...


This is my friend Brenna... She has been my best friend since second grade... In this picture we are doing what we call "smagging", which is dressing up in crazy clothes and going someplace public... just for fun! Here we are at Dairy Queen.

Now for a little segment on... GEOCACHING!!

(I don't have any pictures for this because I didn't think to bring a camera)

So for mutual last night we went geocaching, which if you are not aware is basically like a scavenger hunt type thing that goes on all over the world. People hide "caches", and then enter in their cach and it's gps coordinates on the internet, and people use their gps's to go hunt for them. (If you want to learn more, go to geocaching.com)

So back to mutual... It was really fun to search for the caches with all of the kids in my ward. We didn't find all of them, but I found a REALLY HARD one!! It was a little tiny container - one of the smallest ones I've found, probably about 1 1/2" long and 1/2" in diameter. Not to mention it was covered in camoflauge duct tape and hidden in a PINE TREE!! I can't believe I found it!!!! It was totally just luck that the place I looked just happened to be where the cach was hidden! (If you can't tell, I was pretty excited about this find!)

Introduction

This is just a little introduction to ME. I am starting this blog so that I will have something to do on the days when I'm bored after school!!

Zach is eleven years old and likes to play quitar and I guess just do the type of things that boys like to do.

Kelsey is seven(eight next month), and like to do gymnastics, gymnastics, and even MORE gymnastics!! :)

Amanda is four(five next month), and likes to play dress-up and play with the neighbor kids.

Sage was two years old when she very unexpectadly passed away last month. She brought so much joy into our lives and loved to laugh and run around. She loved to be outside as much as possible. (I'll post more on Sage later...) :)

I am the oldest kid in my family. I am thirteen years old and love to play the piano and hang out with friends. This is my blog where you'll get to know more about me and "have my life at your fingertips" :)

My Mom & Dad are AMAZING, and hold my family together very well. Especially as we have been going through the trial of Sage passing away.

My friends are AMAZING... of course I have a lot of them, but shown here are two of my BEST friends Abby, Angeleah, & me!! We had a lot of fun this day making funny faces and using Abby's mac to take pictures!!
