My lips look huge in this picture!

Abby is truly obsessed with these things

I couldn't figure out how to turn this picture so that it was right side up!

This is me & my "BFF Amy!" (She is one of my leaders if you didn't know!

Sorry the lighting's really bad in this picture!

This is Megan shaking her head while I took a picture

Mine didn't turn out so pleasant :)

These are our first years!

Megan was very un- photogenic on this trip...

We had so much candy... we mixed it all together and made a "candy stew"

Aubrie, Angeleah and Eliza making friendship bracelets... we made so many of those things :)

We played California Speed pretty much nonstop

Making flip-flops

This is our leader Pam, who now has many nicknames. The most popular being "Pammy-Whammy"

Kirstin, our YWs president french-braided almost every girl's hair!

Went and got Bear Lake's famous rasberry shakes

I nicknamed myself "the buffest beehive!"

We made Brooke a tiny mermaid...

Abby wasn't so tiny! We made her huge.

Nauvoo... Here we come!!

A couple of weeks ago, my family took a trip to Nauvoo, Far West, Independence, Liberty, & Carthage. We also went to Hannibal, which is the boyhood home of Mark Twain... way fun trip.

First stop... Hannibal, MO. They had a bunch of neat little shops and buildings... almost all of them dedicated to Mark Twain! This cute little town was right on the Mississippi River.

Amanda got this harmonica from the gift shop & had it to her lips in almost every picture... haha it was really funny!

Tom Sawyer's ACTUAL FENCE!! (I'm acting enthusiastic even though I have never read Tom Sawyer) :)

No idea who Becky Thatcher is... my understanding is that she was Tom Sawyer's first sweetheart.

I found this little frog and we named him Pat. look how tiny it is!

Next stop... NAUVOO, IL!!! This was definetely the highlight of the trip... Nauvoo was so fun and they had so much going on that you never got bored!

< This was a whole garden dedicated to women. It had a bunch of different statues. I was thinking, "A whole garden dedicated to women? hmmm.. I could get used to this!"

Kelsey is such an animal lover...

The temple was so beautiful. You could see it just about anywhere that you were at.

Kelsey & Amanda talking to one of the actors there. They had so many performances going on.

Zach and I were way into the stilts...

Too bad I totally left him in the dust!

Zach wanted to try the stick pull.

haha... guess it's not really his area of expertise!

playing with dress-ups

Amanda looks so darling in this picture!

Zach at the Browning House

These pictures are of us at the Blacksmith shop.

Since Wilford Woodruff is talking about leaving Nauvoo & their temple, my dad thought that he was being so clever taking this picture as though you were looking back at the temple... haha

The temple at night...

Nauvoo's brass band

We got way competitive in the ball and cup game.

One of the many performances we went to...

This statue was called "The Prophet's last ride".

Us making rope

We were at Carthage Jail in this picture... It's got to be one of my favorites because of Amanda!

We went to Liberty Jail after church on Sunday. It was really neat.

While looking at this replica, a little boy asked, "but why didn't the prisoners just walk out of the jail using those rock stairs attached to it?" haha!

On Saturday, we took some leisure time at Coco Key indoor waterpark!

Hope everybody's having a great summer! Next post: Beehive Camp!!!!
