Christmas 2010

Since a picture's worth a thousand words, here's a few. (or several)

I was tired and cold. It was a little too early for me.

Isaac just liked eating the wrapping paper.

Yep, I gave him this. I did good, didn't I?

Okay, so maybe Isaac liked this toy. It's one of those ones when you open up the box and it comes in a million pieces. Took half the day just to assemble it.

Our poor family room sure took a beating.

Anyways, we had a fun Christmas. I think that everybody ended up satisfied. (Even Amanda, who didn't get her $400 Barbie Jeep.)  Our ever-growing stack of wii games and movies is a little bit higher. Speaking of which, I have a new favorite movie. A new favorite favorite movie. Mamma Mia. I watched it on Monday, Tuesday, three times Wednesday, and once today. Not to mention I woke up to "The Winner Takes it All" as my alarm this morning. Obsessed much? Mamma Mia just gives all of the Abba songs a new meaning. The singers on the movie aren't half as good, but they sing it with emotion that you can see. My favorite part is when "Donna" is singing "The Winner Takes it All" to "Sam" just before the wedding. It gives me the chills. (lame, huh?)

Anyways, it's kind of my guilty pleasure that takes up my whole day and I don't get anything done. Especially those math word problems that have been sitting untouched in my backpack all of Christmas break. I don't even remember how to do them. I guess I can worry about that on Sunday at 10:00 at night. (That's another thing- I haven't been going to bed until at least midnight the past few days. I just have so much more I could be doing. Sometimes it is just useless stuff though. Last night I watched a movie (any guesses on which one?), and did an entire puzzle before I went to bed.)

Alright well, that's long enough. Now I should probably go mingle with the family that's over at my house. I'm kind of being anti-social. I've just gotten WAY sick of gatherings lately. It's just the time of year. By January I'm always sick of them.

TTFN, as Tigger would say it :)
